-Update 11/3/20- Goodman & Nekvasil, P.A. has filed an arbitration claim on behalf of our client that the recommendation of GPB was unsuitable in view of our client’s investment objectives, financial situation and needs.

Gary Imel was a previously licensed financial advisor/broker with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., Kalos Capital, Inc. and Madison Avenue Securities, Inc.

According to Gary Imel’s BrokerCheck report, two customer disputes have been filed alleging sales practice violations against Gary Imel.

Customer Dispute 2/25/20: Claimants allege that they were recommended two GPB Capital investments, $50k in GPB Holdings II LP and $50k in GPB Waste Management LP that are now essentially worthless. This customer dispute seeks $100,000 in damages.

Customer Dispute 11/19/19: Claimant alleges that she was recommended an overly aggressive portfolio strategy that was unsuitable and lacked proper asset allocation. She further claims that almost 100% of the portfolio was placed in private placements, including GPB Capital.
